I’m Honored to be speaking at Dreamforce this year!

By Denise Carbone

I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ll be speaking at Dreamforce this year on a topic I care deeply about: why admin and business analyst skills are more important than ever in the age of AI.

The session title says it all. As AI becomes more embedded in the way we work - especially through tools like Agentforce - we need to center the people who make that technology usable, trusted, and effective.

Because here’s the truth: AI doesn’t work without humans. It needs your structure. Your questions. Your testing. Your empathy.

What the Session Covers

This isn’t a technical deep dive into how to code an agent. It’s about the people who bring AI to life inside organizations - especially those working behind the scenes to make sure systems are designed well, data is clean, outcomes are validated, and change is managed thoughtfully.

In the session, I’ll walk through:

  • The foundational CRM best practices that still matter in AI implementations (yes, data integrity and governance are still critical)

  • How to start collaborating with AI tools by asking better questions, validating outputs, and designing practical use cases

  • Strategies to future-proof your role by aligning human-centered skills with evolving technology

Whether you’re an admin, a BA, or just someone who cares about making systems work better for people, this session is for you.

Why This Matters Now

My background is in business analysis. I started there, and I still use those skills every day. Over the years, I’ve seen the ecosystem evolve. What hasn’t changed is the need for people who can connect the dots - between systems and strategy, between teams and tools.

Agentforce is powerful, but it doesn’t run itself. It needs structured data. It needs someone to train and prompt it. It needs someone to validate that the output actually makes sense. It needs people like you.

I’ve also mentored dozens of people trying to grow their careers and wondering how to stay relevant in a changing space. My answer is always this: your analytical thinking, your ability to ask good questions, your focus on outcomes - that's exactly what AI needs to be successful.

Come Join Me at Dreamforce

If you’ll be at Dreamforce, I’d love to see you at the session. I hope you leave feeling more confident, more informed, and more empowered to take your skills into this next chapter of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Because AI is here, and it’s evolving fast. But people are still at the center of every successful implementation.

Hope to see you there.
